Kingman Unified School District #20 is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join the District's vibrant team. This is your chance to be part of a supportive community that values growth, learning, and collaboration. You will work closely with students who have a wide range of communication challenges, helping them to find their voice and improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

 

Our ideal candidate is someone who is not only skilled in the latest speech therapy techniques but also has a big heart for children and a strong desire to make a positive impact in their lives.

What We Offer:

  • Base pay of $68,000-$74,000, which includes $3,000 in classroom site fund money to be paid in one lump sum in July 2024
  • $1,500 per semester for maintaining CCC-SLP through ASHA
  • 151-day employment contract, working Monday-Thursday from July through May

To Qualify:

  • Master's or more advanced degree from an accredited institution in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Speech-Language Pathologist, PreK-12 Certificate issued by Arizona Department of Education.
    • Certificate requirements require
      • A minimum of 250 clinical clock hours supervised by a university or speech-language pathologist, AND
      • Exam or ASHA Membership

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card with an IVP number through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

For those who love fishing or water activities, Bullhead City is a short 30 minute drive and located on the Colorado River. If you like nature, you have the opportunity to enjoy the spring flowers just outside Oatman, AZ approximately 30 minutes west of Kingman and also get to experience forestry and wildlife year-round - including snow in the winter - just 20 minutes away in the Hualapai Mountains. Also, Lake Havasu City, AZ is only one hour away from Kingman and is a hot spot for tourism and a popular location during Spring Break.
