SUMMARY
Manages and develops plans for the district social media platforms. Develops content for digital mediums including articles, social media, promotional materials, and website content.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following as well as other duties that are assigned.
The Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for developing digital content that will be used for marketing and promotional materials. Manage the district social media accounts and create regular posts as well as post events as needed by site. Submit stories for print and digital media as needed. Photograph special events and sporting events and submit photos to local newspapers as needed as well as using photos to generate content for social media. Assist in creating additional promotional materials as the need arises including print, graphics, banners, video, photo, and any other medium that is needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret educational periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of parents, teachers, children, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
