Job Description:

The Substitute teacher is responsible for executing the lesson plan, creating a safe, intellectually challenging learning environment in which each student is actively engaged in meaningful activities.  A substitute teacher is responsible for enabling each child to pursue his education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his regular teacher.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education – BA
2. Must hold a valid Arizona Substitute Teaching Certificate or other valid Arizona Teaching Certificate(s).
3. First Aid/CPR Certified
4. Valid Arizona Driver’s License

5.       Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

6.  Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and extensive background check
