Job Description:

Work with a strong team of 5th-8th grade teachers and support paraprofessionals!  This position insturcts two, 5th grade sections and two, 6th grade sections daily, as well as one short "advisory" period and an intervention/enrichment period.

We are seeking a candidate who has the capactiy and desire to build rapport and positive relationships with students and the school community.  Strong classroom management and communication skills are expected.

Teaching experience and math background required, endorsement or math specialty cert preferred.

Experience, Education, & Licensure:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field.
• Highly Qualified Teacher status in Mathematics (preferred) or Highly Qualified Teacher status in Elementary Education (K-8)
• Arizona Teacher Certification for assigned teaching position. "In-process" reciprocity certs or provisional may be appropriate as well.
• Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.
