Grounds Worker - Roving

SUMMARY

Grounds Worker - Roving travels to district sites and assists with maintaining school grounds and athletic playing fields.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR GROUNDS WORKER - ROVING

• Basic math skills.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and lift test.
• Must hold a valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire)
• MVReport - showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

COMMENTS:

• Grounds Worker Roving pay range $18.24 to $21.38/hour

• Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEARLocation: Facilities - Broadway & Kino Parkway
• Classification: Blue Collar
• FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per dayWork Calendar: 12 month
• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
