Job Description:

Under immediate supervision of certified teaching staff, subject specialists or Program Director of the school and/or physical therapist.  Performs work of moderate difficulty assisting in the structured education of students with special needs within a regular classroom setting.  Assignment may be with severely multiply impaired students of any grade level.

Hiring Pay Range: $19.04 – $20.21 per hour, DOE

.375 FTE, 15 hours per week

Schedule: Monday, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm and Tuesday – Friday, 11:45 am – 3:00 pm

10 months, 188 paid workdays per year

Minimum Qualifications Preferred: Associates degree preferred and six (6) months of experience working with children that have special needs.

Special Requirements: Must possess or have the ability to obtain Level I-IVPP Fingerprint Clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety; CPR certificate and First Aid certificate are required within one (1) year of hire; must be willing to support feeding and toileting of students with training.
