JOB TITLE: Videographer, Public Relations/Marketing
JOB GOAL: To conceptualize, produce and package multimedia content to meet marketing, communications and editorial needs of the Queen Creek Unified School District.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, or related field (photojournalism) preferred.
Uses industry-standard production approaches to storytelling and documentation through traditional and contemporary media, including video, audio, and written works.
Highly proficient in the use of Professional Video Production Equipment.
Experience in graphic design, audio and video recording/editing.
Highly proficient using the Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
Knowledge in set lighting.
Knowledge of green screen use.
Knowledge in social media/live vlogging, shooting/editing photos and videos, audio editing and visual communications.
Comfort with public speaking and small group training.
A collaborative approach in working toward common goals with team members.
Ability to multi-task and complete work accurately under deadline.
A passion for public education.
Ability to represent QCUSD in a positive and professional manner.
REPORTS TO: Director of Public Relations/Marketing
EVALUATION: Initial evaluation to be completed no later than ninety (90) days after first day of work; thereafter, annually by supervisor.
HOURS: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
