Job Description:
Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the district to include: staffing levels, budget and financial goals.
Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the district.
Analyze and document business processes and problems.
Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.
Direct staff in the development, analysis and preparation of reports.
Supervise and evaluate business office staff in accordance with district policies and procedures.
Establish business office employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews.
Coordinate with Human Resources and Superintendent for appropriate staffing levels.
Provide leadership and support to food services, technology, transportation, and operations departments.
Schedule and conduct department meetings.
Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals.
Degree in bussiness/accounting preferred
3-5 years of experience in educational accounting
SMUSD operates on a 4 day work week (Tuesday - Friday)
