Salary Range:

$16.00 - $22.00 USD hourly.

The Registrar is responsible for maintaining records pertaining to student registration reporting/reconciliation within the student information system and collaborates with attendance staff on state reporting information in the form of daily reports and weekly and monthly trends. The Registrar will process student enrollments, transfers, and withdrawals and will support attendance functions and reporting for Arizona charter students. In addition, the Registrar will work closely with Learning Success Coaches to ensure all graduation requirements are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency; Associate’s Degree preferred 
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience working with student information system data, reconciling and troubleshooting, maintaining student records; experience with Power School is a plus.  
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish is a plus. 
  • Active Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) issued IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform technical functions related to student data. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages all student information as required by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE); as well as for national and international private school students.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures relating to the management of student information.
  • Supports AZ State Reporting processes such as but not limited to resolving reporting errors and data analysis.
  • Maintains student information system, prepares yearly reports, student report cards, transcripts and tracks honor roll. 
  • Helps to develop and maintain student schedules. 
  • Plans, monitors and executes the lottery and enrollment process. 
  • Processes student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals.
  • Processes students for graduation; determine honor students.
  • Maintains student cumulative folders and ensures all audit requirements are met. 
  • Notifies teachers of student class changes/cancellations via schedule addendums and generates class rolls for substitute teachers as requested. 
  • Assists with policies and procedures relating to the management of student information. 
  • Collaborates with the Network Office to perform compliance structures and assists with annual financial audits. 
  • Complies with local, state and federal policies and Office of Civil Rights policies regarding enrollment of students.
  • Collects information from students and parents when needed; such as but not limited to Free and Reduced Lunch survey.
  • Practices confidentiality. 
  • Organized, self- starter who prioritizes work and is dependable. 
  • Analyzes and identifies issues, potential risks to the organization, develops alternative solutions, recommends and implements effective course of actions while exercising good judgment and commitment to fairness and honesty. 
  • Provide front office support and assistance when needed. 
  • Participate in both online and in person events and activities.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing.
