Salary Range:
$42,500.00 - $52,000.00 USD annually.

Under the supervision of the Director of State Assessment and Accountability, the Testing and Data Coordinator assists in the planning and execution of assessments of student learning. This includes the responsibility to support the standardized implementation of all federal, state, or district mandated testing. The Testing and Data Coordinator also provides support in assessment-related data entry and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Data Analytics, or related field, required
3 years experience in teaching, supporting educational leadership, data coordination, testing coordination and/or other educational-related experience.
Arizona residency required; Phoenix area preferred.
Experience administering and/or managing administration of Arizona State Standardized Testing preferred, including AZELLA, AASA, AzSCI, ACT Aspire, and ACT.
Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports mandated testing programs from federal, state, or district programs (e.g. Arizona Statewide Achievement Testing, AZELLA, Network Benchmarks) as the School Testing Coordinator.
Serve as the primary test administrator for in-person testing sessions involving fewer than 10 students.
Receive and disseminate assessment information from federal, state, or district programs to families to assure compliance with testing requirements.
Assist the Director of State Assessment and Accountability with training staff to assure a high degree of testing security and standardization of assessment administration.
Regular review of assessment-related data integrity (e.g. EL program participation and need, Cohort reports, statewide assessment eligibility).
Support with data collection and reporting for assessments, college and career readiness, and school letter grades.
Support assessment systems that provide specific and timely feedback to staff to inform instructional practice.
Provide clear communication to various stakeholders to provide information about student achievement and make recommendations for improvements.
Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to comprehend and implement detailed directions with close attention to specific program components to assure fidelity of standardized testing environments.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of adult learning to provide training as necessary to support all staff in administering assessments with fidelity.
Ability to manage multiple projects and reporting responsibilities.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets with knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of data analysis and presentation of information to assist in decision-making.
Ability to communicate clearly to a variety of stakeholders.

LOCATION:
Hybrid Located in Metropolitan Phoenix. Extensive travel needed statewide during state testing windows.
TRAVEL:
Travel will be required throughout Arizona for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
