Job Description:
TITLE: SPEECH/LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - District Wide
CONTRACT TERMS: 10 Months
LOCATION: Location will be determined by the Director based on area of greatest need.
SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt/Certified Speech/Language Pathologist Determination Chart
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements a curriculum program consistent with district educational goals and objectives.

C. COMMITMENT & DEPENDABILITY
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
A. LANGUAGE: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers,
B. MATHEMATICS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
C. REASONING: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
D. LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: Must use sound judgment in performing work.
EVALUATION PROCEDURE: In accordance with provisions specified in Governing
Board policy.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Director of Student Services
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position may supervise or provide input into the evaluation of the speech and language paraprofessional.
