Program Oversight and Development

• Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive suite of special programs, including Special Education, 504 services, English Learner supports, Gifted Education, and Federal Programs.
• Ensure that all programs comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations (IDEA, Section 504, Title III, ESSA, etc.).
• Oversee the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, EL Language Instruction Educational Programs, and Gifted Education Plans, ensuring services are responsive to diverse student needs and talents.

Education/Training:

• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint card required.
• Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• Valid Arizona administrative or supervisory certification related to special education or educational leadership, preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in special programs administration, including special education, preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state education laws and funding regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership in virtual or blended learning environments strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
