PE/5 Grade Math Teacher Position Open ASAP

Full-time position for 2025-2026- pro-rated for the number of days left

· Provides opportunities for problem solving and inquiry learning

· Plans and designs effective learning environments and experiences that may supported by technology

· Demonstrates skills and knowledge that reflect current educational research and best practices

· Establishes a learning community that is safe, warm, and caring

Contract days: 160 (approx.) but will be prorated for the rest of the year

Salary: $46,000-$55000 plus benefits and 301 monies prorated for the number of work days left

Expected work and school hours (subject to change)

Work day: 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday with one Friday Professional Development Day a month.

Requirements

· Highly Qualified Applicants preferred, proper credential and teaching certificate, working with Title I students

Work Conditions

· Three two-week breaks (October, December, March) and approximately seven-week summer

· Health insurance paid for employee, ASRS, Title I school

We are a modified year-round school with two week breaks and a seven week summer. Currently, we have 115 students. Canon is a small school with small classes and a great community.)
